Evony is my boss's latest video game addiction. I signed up to see what all the fuss is about, but haven't signed on since because I have no time to sit and figure everything out, so I am sure that all the neighboring villages probably raid my little supply stash daily.

Yeah, I don't even have time for Kingdom of Loathing anymore, and THAT was quite an addiction for a while.

I am addicted to Evony. I lost interest in KoL about 4 years ago when I lost my password and jick refused to give it to me again on a player with several hundred million meat. Frost Jick, that greedy bastard. I want to go to his PO Box in Phoenix and wait for him to kick his ass. Trying to get me to spend money to rebuild a few years worth of work.

I'm playing this at home and this at work.

I caved and started an Evony account. It reminds me of Age of Empires, minus the fighting, because it's so tedious to build yourself up to anything respectable that I can't even win a fight against an empty field right now.

Luckily I have a wife with a crippling Catan addiction, so I get my nerd fix either way.

I tried Evony and was addicted for a month or so, but once it started taking over 24 hours to do an upgrade, it began to get to be too boring for me.
